It mainly refers to the joint between the rod (including A-arm, or multi link suspension rod and steering rod) and the wheel hub. The ball joint, as the name suggests, is "spherical" and is generally made of rubber. The purpose is to bear the force in multiple directions, connect flexibly, absorb vibration and reduce impact.
